Heated Driveway / Snow Melt Systems
Winter weather conditions can be challenging in Ontario. Snowmelt systems (also known as heated driveway systems) are often included in the design plans of many of our custom built homes. These clients want to improve winter access and safety around their home. Front steps, walkways, breezeways and driveways can all be protected from snow and ice build up. Our design criteria and goal is that “every snowflake must melt on contact when it lands” on the driveway or other controlled areas.
We work with our partner company Quantum Energy Solutions to design and build these systems. They incorporate automated controls with predictive weather forecasting that will consistently monitor weather conditions and deliver the best results while reducing the cost of operation significantly.
